WHO WE ARE

AlmustabshirunaBinabiyyi Sheriff Islamic organization (ALMUBINS) was established in year 2000 as a non-profit, but religious and educational organization dedicated to serve Islam and humanity. The main aim of the founders is to ensure that Islamic teachings reflects in daily life of Muslims and to bridge understanding among Muslims and people of diverse faith with ultimate aim of ensuring global peace among all habitants in the universe.

Over the years ALMUBIS has provided many invaluable services to the Muslim community of Lagos, Nigeria. Most manifest of course, is the annual MaolidNabiyyicelebration, which, since its  inception has been a rallying points for all lovers of Prophet Muhammad (PBOH) to celebrate His life in a different way. To inculcate the teaching of the prophet in our youth, we introduced an annual Islamic guiz competition, the winners enjoyed a year school scholarship for tuition fees and other consumables.

To build bridges of understanding among the Islamic community and people of diverse faith, we embark on medical checkup for all adult within our community and kitting of primary students in some selected public schools irrespective of their faith with school uniforms, bag and books.

We have embarked on thebuilding of an ultra modern Islamic library and Research centre in a Government Islamic school,Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic legal Sudiesllorin,Kwara State, Nigeria.After completion, we intend to warehouse Islamic teachings and research of different scholars who are mostly concentrated in IIorin. Our aim is that the place will serve as a research center for students and researcher.  We aim to build an ultra-modern hospital that can treat all different sickness with its benefits to the larger Islamic society.

Our membership comprises of people of different professional background with wide experience in their chosen fields from all part of the country.  We have an administrative office at 89 Palm Avenue, Papa Ajao, Mushin, Lagos state, Nigeria.

To be an exemplary and unifying Islamic organization in Nigeria that contributes to the betterment of the Muslims community and society at large.

MISSION

To ensure that Islamic teachings reflects in daily life of Muslim and to bridge understanding among Muslim and people of diverse faith with ultimate aim of ensuring global peace among all habitants in the universe.

STRATEGIC GOALS

  1. Raising the awareness of people to the unity of God according to the Islamic teachings and its reflection in their daily life.
  2. To establish an Islamic Research and Education centre.
  3. To organize and participate in conference, seminars, exhibition and workshops related to Islam.
  4. To publish books and educational pamphlets and to introduce lslam as a religion of human rights, peace, love and tolerance.
  5. To build bridges of understanding among Muslims and people of diverse faith and background.
  6. Providing opportunities for spiritual development for adults and youths.
  7. To educate Islamic community through commentary in Radio, TV, print media and on-line.
