Majority of our members reside in Lagos state which happen to be Nigeria’s commercial center and the most populous city on the African continent. In line with current strategic plan of the government to improve the quality of infrastructure within the state. The organization plan to build an Islamic center known as “The Opening House” that will befit a future megacity conception.  It is our aim that the center when completed will serve humanity within the community situated and Lagos in general without any restriction.

 

 

The center is proposed to sit on about 5,000 square meter of land and will comprise the following structures

• A 400 capacity one story modern mosque building with ground floor for male and fist floor for women. Attached to the mosque is a computerized Islamic Library that can sit minimum of 50 at once.
• A story building am-phi theatre auditorium Hall for both local and international conferences/seminars that can sit 600 participants while office complex will be on the first floor.
• A two story guest house comprising of 20 rooms for guest on first and second floor. While the ground floor will comprise Pharmacy/Clinic, Gymnasium and other indoor games.
• A story building of an Event Centre of 500 capacity with attached Restaurant/ Kitchen.
• The center will parking space for about 100 cars and children recreation corners for all children within the community.

 

 

This is a gigantic project that will surely change the landscape of the area that it’s located in Lagos and we hope that it will be a place everybody will like to visit. We estimated that the acquisition of Land and building of the project to the final completion is estimated to cost about two billion naira only (N2billion). However, we hope to execute it in stages.
